Laura Whitmore is an established and highly experienced TV presenter and radio broadcaster, known for her roles hosting Love Island, Celebrity Juice, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now, MTV and much more, as well as her own BBC Radio 5 Live series, The Laura Whitmore Show.

She currently hosts BBC Podcast, Murder They Wrote alongside Iain Stirling, and previously hosted Castaway – the podcast about podcasts – as well as Spotify Original podcast Partners in Crime. She is also the Presenter and Associate Producer of her hugely successful ITV documentary series Laura Whitmore Investigates.

This year she also embarked on Comic Relief’s ‘Snow Way Back’ Arctic Trek to raise vital funds for Red Nose Day which can be seen in a primetime BBC1 documentary.

In 2023 she appeared as the voice of Amazon Prime’s new dating show Date My Mate as well as hosting Laura Whitmore’s Breakfast Show which broadcast on ITV1 every Sunday morning for ten weeks – a new lifestyle and entertainment series, where Laura interviewed a compelling combination of celebrity guests and hosted topical chats.

She has also interviewed some of the biggest musical artists in the world and her love for music is inherent throughout her career, leading her to DJ at some of the biggest and best venues around the world.

In acting, she wrote and starred in her first short film, Sabhdh, for which she won Best Actress at the Irish Film Awards. In September 2022 Laura embarked on her first West End role as Jenny in the critically acclaimed 2:22 A Ghost Story.

In 2024 she can be seen in Channel 4’s highly anticipated drama series Queenie as well as in feature film A Mother For An Hour.

With a degree in Journalism, Laura has always regarded writing as her first love. In 2018 her article expressing her views on Upskirting and the #MeToo and #TimesUp campaigns went viral after publication on The Huffington Post, being shared millions of times around the world. And she has written features on topics ranging from abortion to the effects of social media, for Grazia Magazine, Hot Press, Elle and Glamour.

Her poem for International Women’s Day, She, was shared all over social media and in March 2021 she released her first book, ‘No One Can Change Your Life Except For You’ which has gone on to become a Sunday Times Bestseller.
