@kellyesomers was at the heart of the action with BBC Sport reporting from the England camp throughout the tournament.

@liam_macdevitt was on the ground in Cape Verde with ITV, presenting VTs and content in the run up to their match against Argentina.

@jamie.redknapp partnered with Visa to host watch-alongs for England’s opening match against Croatia and the nail-biting final.

Today we say goodbye to our friend, colleague and an irreplaceable part of the M&C Saatchi Talent Group Andrew McGrath. With his unmistakable Irish charm that could disarm a room in seconds, and a fierce, loving protectiveness over anyone who worked closely with him. His attention to detail was remarkable, nothing ever slipped past him.

He loved the buzz of the office, a night out, his Guinness, working the BAFTAs, House Festival and a good spritz of Jo Malone. He brought warmth into every day - even the hard ones.

What I’ll never stop being in awe of: Andy carried the knowledge of his illness for over a year and told no one. He kept showing up. Kept his humour. Kept his purpose. That’s not just bravery - that’s a quiet strength most people will never understand. ‘Postive vibes always’.

He was selfless in every way. Taken too soon but a spirit that we will ensure lives on.

To Andy’s Mother Kitty, his sisters Anne, Stella, Fiona and Linda and the whole family, we grieve with you and send you love strength and deepest condolences.
